The full story

Skilled Funded Traders was a 2023-launched forex prop firm controlled by Easton Consulting Technologies of Miami — the same operator behind The Funded Trader. Its fate was tied to its bigger sibling: one day after The Funded Trader halted operations in late March 2024, Skilled Funded Traders announced it had "temporarily ceased all operations, including new purchases, effective immediately," promising details within a week. The website was taken down shortly afterwards.

The pause proved permanent. While The Funded Trader resurfaced in August 2024, Skilled Funded Traders never returned. No regulatory action or fraud finding is documented; the collapse coincided with the industry's platform-migration turmoil and a wave of payout complaints across the operator's brands. No compensation program was announced, and payout claims from the period appear to have gone unresolved.

Why isn't Skilled Funded Traders in our directory?

Propfirmbook's directory only includes firms we actively verify and track: live challenge pricing across every account size, payout terms and profit splits, complete trading rules, restricted-country lists, and current offers — checked continuously against each firm's own site. Firms outside the directory haven't been through that process, so we can't vouch for their current terms or operations.

A note on 'fund recovery' services: companies that contact traders of collapsed prop firms claiming they can recover lost funds are a well-documented follow-up scam. No legitimate recovery process exists outside official channels or formal insolvency proceedings.
