MyFlashFunding was acquired by Sway Funded in July 2024 after months of blocked withdrawals; its site now routes all signups to the Sway Funded platform. Closure Date 2024-07-29 Status Rebranded — acquired by Sway Funded Last Updated Last updated: 2026-08-11 ## The full story MyFlashFunding was a Saint Lucia-registered firm offering low-cost challenges from $1,000 to $200,000, with a 15% Phase 1 target, four-day minimum per phase, 5% daily and 10% maximum drawdown, leverage to 1:100 and up to 80% profit share paid daily. Its difficulties began in February 2024 when MetaQuotes suspended MetaTrader licences for US-facing prop firms. The firm migrated to Match-Trader and partnered with an ASIC-regulated broker, but traders reported wider spreads and withdrawal delays. Finance Magnates reported payouts were suspended from around April-May 2024, with pending withdrawals accumulating over several months. CEO Blake Carter initially described these as isolated technical cases; reporting indicates the problem was more extensive. On 29 July 2024 Finance Magnates reported Sway Funded had acquired MyFlashFunding, transferring all clients to the Sway platform and promising immediate settlement of overdue payouts. Traders were required to close positions by 24 July 2024. Carter framed the sale as protecting traders. It was the second struggling prop firm Sway Funded had absorbed within a month. The site now confirms this — its title reads "MyFlashFunding: Home - Sway Funded", a banner states the firm is now owned by Sway Funded, and all signup links point to my.swayfunded.com. The MyFlashFunding brand itself is dormant: the copyright still reads ©2024, /challenges returns 404, app.myflashfunding.com does not resolve, and the Discord vanity invite returns "Unknown Invite". Note on the warning: the withdrawal arrears above relate to the pre-July-2024 MyFlashFunding operation. Finance Magnates reported that Sway Funded settled the overdue payouts on acquisition in July 2024; the non-payment history does not attach to Sway Funded's current operation. ## Why isn't MyFlashFunding in our directory?
