The full story

Axe Trader Funding, founded in 2023 and based at 100 Bishopsgate, London, sold Single Axe and Double Axe evaluations plus a Funded Axe instant product from about $48 entry, with funding up to $250,000 and scaling advertised to $1,000,000, on cTrader, Match-Trader and DXtrade.

On December 11, 2024 the firm suspended all operations and froze all trading accounts indefinitely — review coverage attributed the halt to a CEO medical emergency. Fifteen community warnings were logged, with reports of month-long non-payment preceding the shutdown. Its website is unreachable as of mid-2026, no relaunch has occurred, and no compensation process was documented.

A note on 'fund recovery' services: companies that contact traders of collapsed prop firms claiming they can recover lost funds are a well-documented follow-up scam. No legitimate recovery process exists outside official channels or formal insolvency proceedings.
