Frequently Asked Questions

Elite Trader Funding (ETF) is a US-based futures prop firm that funds traders who pass a simulated evaluation, with trading on platforms such as NinjaTrader, Tradovate and Rithmic. Traders keep up to 100% of their simulated profits, and after reaching $25,000 in cumulative payouts they can graduate to a LIVE ELITE account trading the firm's real capital. Payments are processed through Rise and Stripe.
Fees are one-time and vary by evaluation type and account size (10K to 250K). Fast Track is the cheapest entry, with a single 10K account available under $100 on its End of Day variant, while larger 1-Step and Direct to Funded accounts cost more. Most evaluations carry a $47 reset fee (Fast Track has no resets), and live pricing is shown in the plan picker on ETF's site.
On Elite Sim-Funded accounts, traders keep up to 100% of their simulated profits, capped at $25,000 in cumulative payouts per trader. After that, they move to a LIVE ELITE account on an 80/20 split (80% to the trader) with uncapped payouts.
Six evaluations, each built around a different drawdown style: 1-Step (live trailing, 50K–150K), Fast Track (a single low-cost 10K account), End of Day (end-of-day trailing, 50K/100K), Static Drawdown (a fixed loss limit, 10K–50K), Diamond Hands (holds overnight and over weekends, 100K), and Direct to Funded (no evaluation, one-time payment, 10K/50K/100K).
ETF uses three drawdown styles. Live trailing follows your highest unrealized profit (1-Step); end-of-day trailing only ratchets up at the session close on realized profit (End of Day and Diamond Hands); and static is a fixed floor set on day one that never trails (Static Drawdown and the 100K Direct to Funded). Once you bank your drawdown amount plus $100 in realized profit, the drawdown is removed for payout eligibility.
It depends on the plan. The End of Day evaluation has a daily loss limit ($1,100–$2,200 by size) and Diamond Hands has a $1,500 daily loss limit, while 1-Step, Static Drawdown and Fast Track have none. Most evaluations require a 5 trading day minimum to pass (3 on Fast Track).
On a Sim-Funded account you request a payout each cycle once you meet your Active Trade Days (8 for the first cycle, 10 after on standard plans). On LIVE ELITE, withdrawals are available daily on business days with a $250 minimum, an 80/20 split and a 48-hour payout approval guarantee.
ETF's model is a sim-to-live pathway: you pass a no-time-limit evaluation, earn on a Sim-Funded account keeping up to 100% of profits, then at $25,000 in cumulative payouts graduate to LIVE ELITE trading the firm's real capital. It also offers a Diamond Hands plan that allows holding positions overnight and over the weekend, which many futures evaluations prohibit.
