## Frequently Asked Questions

Apex Trader Funding is a futures-focused prop firm based in Austin, TX, operating since 2021. It runs on platforms including NinjaTrader, Tradovate, Rithmic-based platforms and WealthCharts. On funded accounts, traders keep 100% of approved payouts.

Apex charges a one-time evaluation fee (no recurring billing) under its All New Apex program, with an Intraday Trail path and a pricier EOD Trail path in 25K–150K sizes. Passing traders pay a one-time activation fee, or can buy a no-activation-fee version upfront. Check Apex's checkout for current prices.

Apex pays 100% of approved payouts on funded accounts. Traders can run up to 20 accounts.

Apex offers 1-Step evaluations in 25K, 50K, 100K and 150K sizes, each with a 30-day access window and one-time fee. Traders choose between an Intraday Trail (real-time trailing drawdown, no daily loss limit in the evaluation) and an EOD Trail (drawdown recalculated once daily, with a daily loss limit). Profit targets scale from $1,500 to $9,000.

Each evaluation has a max drawdown from $1,000 (25K) to $4,000 (150K). There's no consistency rule in the evaluation. On funded accounts, no single day may be 50% or more of profit since the last payout. EOD evaluations also have a daily loss limit ($500–$2,000) that pauses trading for the session.

Apex maintains a published restricted-country list (87 entries as of mid-2026) including Vietnam, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa, China, Russia and Iran. Prospective traders should confirm their country against Apex's current list before purchasing.

Payouts need 5 qualifying days (not necessarily in a row), each hitting a minimum daily profit of $100–$350 depending on account size. The minimum payout is $500, each account allows up to 6 payouts, and Apex pays 100% of approved payouts.

With its All New Apex overhaul, Apex moved to one-time evaluation fees with no recurring billing and no resets. Traders choose an Intraday or EOD drawdown path, can run up to 20 accounts, and keep 100% of approved payouts.
